Original figurative work at a residential-friendly scale, priced NZ$1,400 – NZ$4,500. Every piece is one-of-one, signed, unframed by default, framing available on request. The programme below is designed to make specifying original art as easy as specifying a fabric or a light.
Trade discount
A standing 20% trade discount off retail on any painting from the collection. Applied automatically once you register — no negotiation required per project.
On-approval loans
Take a painting to your client's home for up to seven days, no obligation. We handle delivery and collection within the Auckland region. If it fits, you commission; if not, we take it back.
Digital in-situ renders
Send a photograph of the wall — receive a photorealistic composite showing the painting in place, at correct scale, within 48 hours. Ideal for client presentations before physical loan.
Commissions
Bespoke work in Defne's surrealist portrait language, sized to your project. Typical timeline 6–10 weeks. 50% deposit, balance on completion. Full sketch approval before paint.
Framing partnerships
Working relationships with two Auckland framers who understand the collection. Choose from a shortlist of frames pre-approved by the artist, or bring your own framer.
Studio visits
Private, by appointment. Bring clients, or come alone to review upcoming work months before it's shown publicly. First look on new pieces goes to trade partners.
